Step 1: Login to the platform with the given credentials.
Step 2: Click on the “Settings” module to open a submenu. Within the submodule, click on the “Task Config”.
Step 3: Click the “New” button to create a task type.
Step 4: Once you click the new button “Type Configuration” will open. Enter the “Task Type Description”.
Allow Create for Anyone:
If turned on, anyone can assign tasks to anyone. If turned off, tasks can only be assigned to oneself or direct reports.
Restrict Future Check-in:
If turned on, upcoming tasks cannot be completed and will be restricted
Step 5: Customers | Module | Features
Through the toggle button, you can enable the Customers, Module, and Features dropdown fields in the task creation drawer. Once a customer, module, and feature are selected from the dropdown, the chosen inputs will be displayed on the task card. The module and feature names can be renamed as needed.
Step 6: The Active toggle button is used to enable or disable a task type. When enabled, the specific task type will appear in the task creation drawer. When turned off, the task type will not be displayed. You can also add a border color for the specific task type. Finally, click the “Save” button to create the task.
